What is the Ads Cart? What is the difference between the Ads Cart and My Bookmarks? The Ads Cart is a temporary storage of classified ads into your browser. Therefore, the ads are being saved into your browser client. You cannot access same classified ads if you use another browser or use a different computer. It is temporary because it is cookie-based and deleting cookies in your browser also deletes the content of the Ads Cart.
Compared to your Bookmarks, the Ads Cart is only advisable to use to quickly save ads you are interested with when you are browsing the website. For permanent storage, we recommend the use of your Bookmarks as items saved in your bookmarks are accessible anywhere by logging in to your member account.
What can I do if I received a spam in my private message? You can flag the private message as spam by clicking "Spam" at the upper right part of the message. Flagging private messages as spam notifies us to investigate the message. Users spamming ADflakes can be banned from the website will all advertisements removed from the listings.
How can I syndicate content from ADflakes? You can syndicate content from
ADflakes through the various RSS feeds available in the website. You will know that an RSS feed is available for a list when you see our RSS icon

. The feed is dependent on the type of listings available on the page. So for example, RSS Feeds from a Directory listing page will list the latest classified ads listed in that Directory. You can get the RSS Feed for the entire country in the homepage. Each user also has his own RSS Feed available in user's homepage.
You can also customize the RSS Feeds by using the search functionality of the system. The search result page will display the RSS feed for the resulting list.
What can I do if my city/state/province or country is not included in the available locations? Can I suggest additional categories? How can I cancel my membership? As of now, there is no direct way of cancelling your membership. Yet, you can do these steps to virtually make your member account non-existing in our system.
- Be sure to delete all your classified ads
- Remove your contact details in your profile
- Be sure to untick "Receive Newsletter" in your profile
- Untick "Other people can contact me about other commercial interests" in your profile
- Remove all advertisements in your bookmark
Can I change my username? No. The username is fixed for all members so make sure to select the best username when you register a member account.
How can I access my homepage? If you are a registered member, you can access your ADflakes homepage URL by appending your username to ".member.adflakes.com"
For example, if your username is "admin" then your homepage is accessible by visiting http://admin.member.adflakes.com
For non-members, you can access your homepage by viewing your posted advertisement and then clicking the username under the Contact Details section.
Why is my advertisement deleted? If you did not manually delete your advertisement and it has been archived, it can mean any of the following reasons:
- You have set an expiration for your advertisement and it already expires
- Your advertisement is flagged as offensive by other users
